HOME + GARDEN
What design trends have you seen in 2023 and what are you expecting to see in 2024 ?
2023 was a year in which we saw a lean towards organic curves and soft lines . Whether it ' s curved sofas , scalloped edges on rugs or bubble vases – I definitely see this trend continuing into 2024 . I think it will be more widely used in architectural ways such as in windows and arches . We have definitely stepped away from grey being the go-to neutral colour of choice , with a warmer , more beige white now being used more widely . I couldn ' t be happier with this ! I feel that warmer whites not only warm a space up , but let other colours pop , creating a cosy , calming space in the home .
What is the most satisfying thing about your job and what do you enjoy most about it ?
Having a home you love really does affect how you feel . The best part of my job is seeing my client ' s excitement when their space starts to come together . Sometimes I can physically
see their shoulders begin to relax as they see their vision come to life . When it comes to clients taking on bigger renovations or extensions , I love seeing them realise this can be an exciting and enjoyable experience and not just a stressful dust-filled one !
