Recent projects include the award-winning Process Gallery for artist Nick Veasey , the first new build Picturehouse in the UK at Ashford , and a new winery , gin works and brewery for Chapel Down . Hollaway are also the architects behind designing Brompton Bikes Global HQ in Ashford , and recently completed the award-winning world ’ s first multi-storey F51 Skatepark in Folkestone for the Sir Roger Dehaan Charitable Trust .

Why were you chosen for the project ? The clients , Anthony and Theresa , have previously worked with us on a number of successful projects , so choosing our studio to design this one-off bespoke house was a natural choice . This project was one-ofa-kind and marked our first opportunity to design a unique and tailored home collaboratively . What was the property development brief / objective ? The clients approached us with a clear goal ; they sought a home that catered to specific needs while also meeting the stringent architectural and sustainability standards required to secure approval for construction . Emphasis was placed on family-centric living spaces ; the clients were keen on making the home balance hosting and seclusion . This informed the open-plan dining and living area with corridors peeling off into areas of the home that felt more private . To create a sense of spaciousness for entertaining , the highest roof space was strategically located in the family areas .
