CINEMAS UNDER THE STARS
Adventure Cinema at Whatman Park , Maidstone
Celebrated touring outdoor cinema company Adventure Cinema brings an exciting selection of summer screenings to Whatman Park in Maidstone . Also known as Millennium Park , this 18-acre beauty spot includes wildflower meadows , treetop walks , a skate park and an open-air performance area . Meet up with friends and family in these idyllic surroundings for an unforgettable evening of movie magic .
Hot food and snacks are available , however , picnics and drinks are also welcome . The gates open at 8.15pm with films starting at approximately 9.45pm . Screenings will be held on the grass in front of the bandstand . Saturday 1 July will see a screening of 1987 ’ s hit favourite Dirty Dancing and Sunday 2 July will be one of the first chances to catch the latest film starring Tom Cruise in the great outdoors with Top Gun : Maverick . These two screenings are made for those with a thirst for action-packed drama with a good slice of 80 ’ s nostalgia on the side , too .
