What were the common mistakes that you managed to avoid ?
We decided to launch our properties in three phases at The Hamlet so that we could better manage the build and quality timelines while being able to keep our customers advised on their completion dates and update them on progress .
What was your biggest surprise ?
In all honesty we have been most surprised at the reception the development has had . From the initial launch we have had unbelievably positive feedback about The Hamlet particularly on our house designs , the layouts , plot sizes , the green community spaces and the beautiful lagoon – which makes all the hard work and detail that goes into the specification and planning worthwhile .
What are you most proud of ?
We are proud of the quality and unique design of our homes that offer an architectural difference but that also reflect our local heritage , while at the same time making sure we keep ourselves at the forefront of energy efficiency without compromising on comfort and design .
What ’ s your advice for those looking to purchase a new build home ?
Know your builder , research their completed developments , and be realistic about timelines as they are often out of the builder ’ s control due to external factors .
