Located in the heart of Ashford , yet secluded away behind a discreet walled entrance and acres of stunning gardens , Boys Hall is one of those places that invokes memories amongst almost all of the local population , a collective who are now returning en masse piqued with curiosity to explore just how incredible the transformation here has been .
Shedding its former incarnation as the town ’ s go-to wedding / party venue , new owners Kristie and Brad Lomas , who realised a dream return to Krisite ’ s home roots packing with them an impressive CV boasting stints at the East London Pub Co ( Brad ) and notable founderships of the acclaimed Drink , Shop Do and Keystone Crescent ( Kristie ) within a growing family ’ s removal crates just two years ago , have delivered a frankly incredible reimagining of the entire offering here , proudly reopening as a restaurant , rooms and garden concept this autumn .
On this occasion , my guests and I had the delight of experiencing the restaurant offering . The first concept to open along with a cosy onsite pub , it will be followed by the refurbished rooms later this winter with the future possibilities of a myriad of garden-based intrigue - think gin terrace , secluded spa , and cottage accommodation that spill with enthusiastic vision from the pair who have lived , breathed and envisioned their dream over the past two years .
