At The Cliffe Lounge Bar & Kitchen we aim to provide a British dining experience with a European twist . We source our produce and ingredients locally within Kent to ensure an authentic dining experience .
Tell us about the dishes and the menu that you have created ?
Our location on the Leas in Folkestone , on the coastline , gave us the idea to play around with a few fish and seafood dishes such as a prawn and sundried tomato linguini and a hake fillet with a tomato , lemon and basil sauce . Our goal was to capture the essence and flavours of the Kentish coastline .
What is your favourite signature dish ?
My favourite dish is the smoked duck breast , served with potatoes and creamy sauerkraut ; it ’ s a taste of home with a Kentish flair .
What is your guilty pleasure ?
