Open plan kitchens are the ‘ thing ’ nowadays , a space where you can entertain whilst cooking with ease is the way forward . No matter how large the kitchen , we are however always in search of more counter space and storage , cue the double island – a duo of units both great to look at and multi-functional .
Kent-based kitchen company Rencraft have utilised the double island feature to ‘ separate an otherwise open-plan kitchen into different zones ’.
The kitchen island trend has somewhat evolved over the years , and it ’ s definitely for the best – more space , more storage options , I mean , why only have one when you could have two ?
