No we ' re not talking about Orlando Bloom ( although that wouldn ’ t be a bad thing )! We ' re talking about the big balls of flaming gas that light up the night ’ s sky , twinkling away until day .
So , whether you ’ re lucky enough to live nearby to one of our favourite Kentish stargazing locations and need only peer out the window at those big skies , get to embark on a starchasing adventure across the county , or simply fancy losing a few hours to Instagram searching for the best shots of our starry locations , prepare for some beautiful sights .

A DESERT OF DELIGHT
The UK ' s only desert couldn ' t be a better place for seeing some of the most amazing starry nights . Having recorded some of the darkest skies in Kent ( due to the low population density there is little light pollution here !), Dungeness is unlike anywhere else . Here you can see a sky brimming with sparkling stars all the way over the sea , open landscape and endless skyline . And with the Milky
Way often visible to the naked eye , as well as the twinkles of distant galaxies and clusters , it ' s certainly a sight for sore eyes .
