IN TURNER’ S WAKE: Contemporary Visions by Jake Wood-Evans Chatham Historic Dockyard
A special opportunity to see original works by J. M. W. Turner on display in The Historic Dockyard Chatham alongside Jake Wood- Evans’ s original work in a new exhibition merging the artistic mediums of 19th-century and contemporary paintings. Both painters work with an impressionistic style, merging subject and object, with Turner’ s radical work becoming the inspiration for Jake’ s modern, atmospheric paintings.
