MINDFULNESS DRAWING WORKSHOP Creek Creative, Faversham
Join this creative session, where you will go through simple mindful drawing activities. You will be able to focus on the moment with calm energy and tea, coffee and lunches will be available in the award-winning Gallery Kitchen Cafe. Drawing materials will be included, but you can bring your own journal or sketchbook for recording notes in the session. There are no drawing skills needed for this workshop.

The English Youth Ballet( EYB) are performing a hauntingly beautiful production of Giselle. Set on a country estate in the Edwardian era, with a Downton Abbey feel, the story follows Giselle, a young governess who falls in love with the aristocratic Albert who betrays her- this leads to her dying of a broken heart. With inventive choreography and an incredible lineup of dancers.

SANDGATE SEA & FOOD FESTIVAL Granville Parade, Sandgate 29- 30 Aug
Spanning across the August bank holiday weekend, the Sandgate Sea & Food Festival will be held at Granville Parade and will extend to Sandgate Castle and the Castle Road Car Park. Saturday kicks off the weekend with live music, food and drink stalls and entertainment, with a firework display starting at 9pm. Sunday will have a seafront market and arts and crafts fair, showcasing a number of local makers. Booking required for the event.
