here was more than a hint of irony concerning the winner of the 2014
Inside the Mani photo competition. The winning entry by Marian
Smith, voted for on our Facebook page, depicted a cute kitten hugging a
miniature potted olive tree. The photo was actually taken in the garden
of Marian’s holiday home in Stoupa. The irony here goes further than
the prize being a week’s free accommodation in Stoupa (why would
she need somewhere else to stay?) as the Tria Apartments are literally
50 metres from her and her husband Keith’s house!
