Neohori
N
eohori is just 2 km above Stoupa. Even in the height of summer it is
not unusual to see early morning walkers making their way up the
main road to explore the village. “Inside the Mani on Foot & by Car” has
a walk that, once through the village, heads off to a nearby, shallow gorge
and then back to Stoupa via Lefktron. If you are driving up to Neohori
to take in her narrow alleyways or frequent one of the 2 kafenia or the
taverna, it is best to park by the mini-market or carry on the main road,
past the bakery and turn into main square.
