MASCAR
The Danica Patrick of Mascar
Juli Stanford #11 leads the Way.
www.mascar.co.uk
The first lady of Mascar has at long
last returned to her previous form by
winning: the last two meetings, two
heat wins, a second in the final at
Foxhall Raceway, Ipswich and
winning all three races at Aldershot showing the boys just how it’s done on
two totally different types of tracks.
something other than the pain he was
in - he’d time to think over what might
be the problem with the car. Black and
The ‘final’ saw 16 year old rookie
Aaron Cooke [#96], take a flat out turn
and stealing the ‘Hat-trick Win’ away
from #11 after a last lap pass.
However, Juli still managed to win
overall on Mascar points.
After a spell of just about managing to
get into the top five - the now top-form
girl-racer has suddenly found her legs
again and ‘modestly’ puts her success
down to the car set-up that finally
matches her smooth driving style.
Full-time driving instructor Julie always
knew the car had the potential to do

fork-in Hell was
that!”.
The first meeting at Ipswich saw Juli
[#11] take two heat wins. Racing from
the front half of the grid, it was still an
impressive drive and after fending off
several attacks, she had more in
reserve than she thought.
At the next meeting at Aldershot, she
took an impressive flag to flag victory
again fending off challenges from the
top boys to make it FIVE wins out of
SIX races.
blue from the neck down - and many of
us have seen the facebook photos thankfully, the neck up was working in
overdrive and after some adjustments
to the car, it was totally transformed.
With Juli and her newly-tuned car
doing a complete u-turn, her future
looks bright for the rest of the season.
What could be next?
She looks like a serious contender for
The British Championship.
However, Joking
aside, his survival is
nothing short of a miracle.
Speaking of which, recovering from the
accident and trying to think of
