SLOT STOX Champion
What a fantastic meeting and well done to
Steve Holgate #51 on retaining his Gold
Roof. The club would like to thank C & S
Coaches for sponsoring the race trophies for
their big event.
The slot stox championship was made a
little more exciting this year as they had the
pleasure of both F1 & F2 World Champions
racing amongst them. We don’t know how
they were seeded into the race meeting or
the big race itself, perhaps they were first
and second reserves?
Whatever the selection process, they
managed to put up a great show. Not only
were they taking part, they also presented
the trophies.
Both Lee Fairhurst and Mickey Brenan are keen
slot-stox racers having started their racing in
“Slots” before moving on to the real thing.
Neither one could make it a double gold but
insisted they had a great time trying.
