In this first edition of Inside Stock
Car World, we'd like to tell you a
little bit about MASCAR. For
those of you who know absolutely
nothing, we'll tell you where they
race, a little bit about the type of
cars they are and where they
originated. For those who know a
bit more, we're including more
detail on the technical
specifications.
As with just about every motor
racing enthusiast, we are a
friendly bunch who just want to
be racing, watching the race,
talking about the race or reading
about the race. We'll give you a

rough guide to the running costs
if you're interested in taking part whether you have a small or
larger budget - because there's
room for everyone.
If we leave anything out that
you're interested in, come along
to one of the meetings and see
for yourself, chat to the drivers or
have a word with the promoter.
We'd say the MASCAR is serious
racing on a relatively low budget
and a second hand car will set
you back approx £8k plus £1.5k
running costs per year.
