ODU Women ' s Initiative Network
The ODU Women ' s Initiative Network ( ODU WIN ) is making significant strides in providing mentorship , professional support , and leadership development for university women with its mission to engage with students around three essential pillars : education , skill development , and networking .
With a focus on first-generation female students at ODU , WIN mentees have the opportunity to listen and learn from accomplished women leaders , gain hands-on experience through workshops , and interact with industry professionals .
Mentorship is a central component of ODU WIN , and the program encourages mentors to share their knowledge and experiences , jumpstarting the career or graduate education of program .

200 ODU students have completed the WIN Mentorship Program since the program launched in 2014 .
75 Monarchs are currently enrolled in the WIN Mentorship Program .
85 professional and executive women mentors are actively participating .
62 scholarships have been awarded to ODU students .
15 learning events are hosted each year to support WIN mentors and mentees .
Nearly 2,000 articles of clothing have been donated to ODU students for Big Blue ' s Closet .
