1.2.4 Encourage and support centre staff and families to host their own events and participate in external events to recognise and celebrate NRW each year.
1.2.5 Extend an invitation to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to attend the Central Office internal event and share their reconciliation experiences or stories.
1.3 Develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, communities and organisations to support positive outcomes
1.2.6 Download and circulate Reconciliation Australia’ s NRW resources to staff.
1.3.1 Develop and implement an engagement plan to work with our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stakeholders.
1.3.2 Meet with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations to develop guiding principles for future engagement.
1.3.3 Explore and commit to establishing formal two-way partnerships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stakeholders or organisations relevant to our sphere of influence.
1.3.4 Seek feedback from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stakeholders on their engagement with KU and implement any suggestions to further improve collaborative partnerships and achieve desired outcomes.
1.3.5 Encourage our staff, families and other stakeholders to develop their own relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and organisations.
