Extravagant Generosity
July Mission Focus:
Habitat for Humanity of Beaver County
Habitat for Humanity of
Beaver County is a nonprofit, Christian housing
ministry affiliated with Habitat
for Humanity International.
We have been putting faith
into action in our community
since 1992 by partnering with
hard-working families and
volunteers to build homes for
51 families in Beaver County
- so far! We have also added
$85,000 to our county’s
yearly tax revenue by rehabbing
blighted houses or building on vacant
lots.
It is often assumed that we receive
funding from Habitat for
Humanity International.
However, we rely on public
donations from individuals,
churches and corporations.
All undesignated donations
are tithed (10%) to Habitat
for Humanity International to
further carry out our mission
of eliminating poverty housing
worldwide. Through our
tithes to Habitat for Humanity
International, we have built over 65 homes outside of the
United States.

a no-profit mortgage, and willingness to partner with
Habitat. Their mortgage payments contribute to a Fund
for Humanity, which in turn provides the money to build
more houses. Because of Habitat’s no-interest, no-profit
loans, and because the houses are principally built with

volunteer labor, mortgage
payments are afford
