Intentional Faith Development Jungle Safari VBS: Touching lives in our community and around the world! By Andrea Czartoryski, Children and Family Ministry Director Jungle Safari VBS took 270 children on a life-changing adventure! The children explored the nature of God and discovered that God is Creator, Provider, Protector, Savior, and King! The mission focus this year was “Buckets and Bracelets” and the children donated 12 buckets of cleaning supplies for disaster relief and over 1,300 rainbow loom bracelets for children in Butere, Kenya! The children learned about the Mission Outreach of Rainbow Christian Missions, Disaster Relief, ‘Planting Hope’ for Hair Peace Charities, the Philippi Mission trip, and Support our Troops. Even more importantly, they learned that they can spread the light and love of Jesus and touch the lives of others in our community and around the world. Over 120 volunteers gave of their time, energy, and talents to touch the lives of the children who attended. The volunteers decorated, shared Bible stories, made crafts, played games, prepared snacks, sang, and danced all week long! 270 children + 180 families + 120 volunteers + hundreds of children in Butere, Kenya + families around the US suffering from disaster + the women of Hair Peace Charities + people in Philippi, WV + hundreds of our soldiers overseas = Lives Touched by Ingomar Church through VBS 2014. 5
