Extravagant Generosity
August Mission Focus: HEARTH
HEARTH is a non-profit organization that
provides supportive services and temporary
affordable housing in a suburban setting for
women with children who are experiencing
homelessness and who are committed to
becoming financially stable. The objective is
to help women create an achievable plan for
success in their training programs, increasing
their life skills so they can earn a living wage.
HEARTH accepts families with up to four children
and insists on women’s participation in educational
programs that will lead to employment. Accepted
families are housed in their own apartments and
manage their own daily tasks. Women meet weekly
with the Direct Services Coordinator and as a group
for problem solving and support. Through HEARTH
women become role models for their children who
see that stable lives are a possibility.
For more information about HEARTH or for
information about what you can do to help
homeless women with children, please call

If you would like to donate to support
HEARTH, please use the yellow envelope in
the bulletin or pew rack and place it in the
offering plate.

programs supported by Ingomar Church.
