Raise Your Hands to
Are you ready to raise your hands in service?
Ready to extend a helping hand? Maybe
even get your hands dirty?
Here are some service opportunities for
families suggested by Andrea Czartoryski,
Children and Family Ministry Director.
Around the World:
UMCOR – The United Methodist Committee on
Relief is an organization dedicated to alleviating human
suffering around the globe. Together with your family,
provide a relief supply kit. These health kits, sewing
kits, school kits, bedding kits, birthing kits, and cleaning
buckets help provide care for the most vulnerable
people during times of crisis. Find out how you can help
at umcor.org/UMCOR/Relief-Supplies
Support the Troops – Make cards, bookmarks, or
donate books for our troops overseas in Kuwait,
Korea, Afghanistan and Tonga! For more information,
please contact Brad and Sandy Clarke,
[email protected] or 724-934-0322.
Ingomar Living Waters – Collect and give money that
will help to build wells for people around the world who
do not have access to clean water.
Rainbow Christian Missions – This mission group
sponsors children in school, and provides medicine,
water wells, food, and more to the people of Butere,
Kenya. Soon we’ll make rainbow loom bracelets for
the mission team to take to the children of Butere this
summer! Get a head start by making a child-sized
bracelet and dropping it off in Ms. Andrea’s office!
