Details of the sub-contracting plan and fabrication yard indicates the block allocation to each sub-contractor and scope of work for the identified block depending on the sub-contractor ’ s workload and yard facilities e . g . manpower , machinery , space , logistic , shop drawings , material control , track record working with the main shipyard and owner .
3 . Topside piping fabrication yard . All the preoutfitting items such as pipe spools , pipe supports , electrical and instrumentation support , trays and ladders , equipment seats , structural supports are distributed to the block fabricators for block completion prior to load-out or delivery to the main shipyard . Some fabricators may deliver the On-Deck or Partial Module Outfitting to the main shipyard for the Module Pre-Erection Stage .
