It is important for us to understand that Industry 5.0 is not a chronological continuation nor the next stage of Industry 4.0 . We must not wait until we have fully implemented Industry 4.0 before embarking on Industry 5.0 . Malaysia should see Industry 5.0 as a complement to Industry 4.0 adoption by having clear policies and a roadmap to drive the digital transformation towards a more human-centric , sustainable and resilient paradigm .
The Malaysian Government should have the foresight to develop a policy roadmap , with initiatives and incentives for our industry stakeholders to adopt and implement Industry 5.0 in Malaysia as part of the national transformation and digitalisation agenda .
