Conclusion
The VBITMS has proven to be a highly effective solution for monitoring traffic conditions in Cyberjaya . With its cutting-edge AI vision technology and tracking algorithms , the system can detect and classify different types of vehicles in realtime , providing a wealth of data on traffic flow patterns and road usage . One of the system ' s major strengths is its ability to accurately distinguish and analyse various vehicle types , from cars and motorcycles to vans and trucks . Additionally , the VBITMS covers a wide area of road , allowing for the behaviour of vehicles to be studied in detail and multiple flow count lines to be placed within the field of view of a single camera . Another key advantage is the user-friendly traffic information dashboard , which allows for easy monitoring , analysis , and display of metrics and data related to traffic conditions . This dashboard is a powerful tool for both authorities and users , providing insights and critical data to improve traffic management and infrastructure development . By leveraging the historical traffic data provided by the system , city planners can make informed decisions on future road infrastructure , facilities , property , and business development .
Overall , the VBITMS represents a significant step forward in traffic monitoring technology , offering a comprehensive and valuable solution for cities and communities looking to improve traffic conditions and enhance the quality of life for residents . This aligns with the Malaysia Smart City Framework ' s goal of promoting sustainable economic growth , enhancing the quality of the environment , and improving governance with technology and innovation .
