How did Uplift Food come about?
After completing my Master’s
degree in 2012, I moved to New
York, and positioned myself as
a spokesperson and product
developer under The Travelling
Dietitian (recently renamed
The Prebiotic Dietitan). I had
gone through a big breakup and
I was feeling pretty stressed.
I started investigating the
relationship between diet and
mood, and discovered the gut-
brain connection. After heIping
other companies with product
development, I saw this big gap in
the market for a brand focused on
the gut-brain link. And that was
what led me to then launch
Uplift Food.
