on to my kids and the younger
people who work in my office.”
She advises those who are still
working on enhancing their career
to focus on the work at hand, try
and do as good a job as you can,
and be willing to take a risk for
whatever might be the next step
that can move your life in a positive
direction.
So what's new and different this
time around, career-wise? Well,
there's that issue of going after a
particular job assignment, rather
than waiting for one to arise –
namely running for re-election.
The Republican Primary in the
Fifth District (which covers twothirds of the state) will be held on
May 6, and she is definitely in the
running, with much that she would
like to achieve for her constituents
in the areas of job training,
terrorism prevention, and whatever
else is needed. We certainly hope
she gets that chance.
