Common refrigerant performance characteristics
Refrigerant properties are necessary to describe the operating characteristics of the refrigerant within
the system. Thermodynamic and transport properties of refrigerants are necessary for predicting system
behaviour and component performance. The following table provides the basic performance properties
of common halogenated and natural refrigerants:
