INDIELIT

Self-publishing has come of age, and we love it: Write, publish, repeat. We’re always up for anything that bypasses the self-appointed gatekeepers that have stopped creative people everywhere from getting their work out for far too long, and now it’s happening for the printed word too: The age of the ebook and true print-on-demand has arrived. Berlin writers like Noel Maurice and Polly Trope represent the vanguard of authors who are taking things into their own hands, and the results are awesome.

With the shifting landscape brought about by technological advancements, the Web 2.0 phenomenon and 21st Century attitudes, it was never a better time to be an independent band, artist, writer or fashion designer. But with indie power comes indie responsibility and it can be a little overwhelming to keep up with growing possibilities and changing trends. We’re here to help with our section devoted to helping artists to get the business, marketing and organisational stuff done.

ARTIST SUPPORT

TEAM

indieberlin is in the end all about people. The reviews, interviews, articles, videos, photo galleries and events could never get done without the amazing bunch of people who have come forward and been ready to dive in and make indieberlin happen, purely for the excitement of being part of the fabric of independent Berlin. We will always be most of all grateful to them, and very happy to have met such a number of creative and inspirational individuals!
