What or who would you say has been your biggest inspiration in life?

When I was about 11 years old, my family and I discovered that I had a hearing loss that progressed from mild at discovery to deaf by my mid 20's. I refused to accept the handicap or even define it as such. I ran from Doctor to Doctor for all those years seeking help to get my hearing fixed but it took decades until I found one. This "Witch Doctor" (to me at least HA) was looking for 500 deaf people, the FDA (USA Food & Drug Administration) was allowing him to use, in testing, an Australian made hearing device made to restore some useable hearing. In 1987, I had the surgery and implantation of a Cochlear 22 channel hearing device that worked miracles for me. It didn't give me back "normal" hearing but it gave me sounds that I quickly learned to comprehend. (All that is the basis of my true story book, Hear the Sunshine)

Have you ever had an ESP or paranormal experience in your own life? If so, would you like to share it?

I've had many ESP events in my life and one of the characters in the Whispering Pines series has a creatively exaggerated version of the same thing. (Gail Veal) I have shared my experiences through that character, so my reply to this question is simply; read the book for the answer. HA.
