ACCOMPLISHED ACTRESS AND VOCALIST LOIS DU PLESSIS, REFLECTS ON THE EVOLUTION OF MUSIC SINCE SHE ENTERED THE SCENE.
LOIS DU PLESSIS
With an extensive career spanning more than 24 years in the international entertainment industry, Lois du Plessis’ versatile skill set includes theatre, film, television, commercials, live performance, session singing, and voice acting.
Holding a National Diploma in Drama from Tshwane University of Technology, she began her professional journey as a member of the Virgin / EMI pop group Afro Z, where she spent five formative years before the group members pursued individual paths within the industry.
In 2006, Lois relocated to the United States, embarking on a significant chapter of her career. She spent 12 years recording, performing, and touring internationally as a member of the multiple Grammy award-winning gospel group Israel & New Breed, with whom she continues to perform on occasion.
