WHAT CAN FESTIVAL-GOERS EXPECT THAT WILL MAKE THEM FEEL YOU’ VE LEVELLED UP? This year, the focus is on the complete festival experience, from the production and visual identity to food, drinks, VIP areas, and new spaces. With Lucky Fish stepping in as title partner and ARC Stores introducing Glow-Up Bars in the festival’ s Lucky Loos, Harding says the team has reimagined the details without losing the festival’ s relaxed character.
“ You must still be able to arrive with your picnic blanket, take your shoes off, dance with your kids, and have the best day ever. We’ re just making the whole experience around that feel more special.”
YOU’ RE TAKING THE FESTIVAL ACROSS CAPE TOWN AND THE GARDEN ROUTE. WHAT MAKES THESE DESTINATIONS SO SPECIAL?“ They are honestly some of the most beautiful places in the world!”
Harding loves the holiday energy that comes with summer, when families reconnect and friends return from overseas. Each destination brings something different, from Plett’ s buzz to Hermanus’ s scenery.
“ Dance badly. Sing loudly. Talk to the person next to you. Put your phone away for a bit. It’ s summer, so just be in the experience!”
LOOKING BEYOND THIS SUMMER, WHAT CAN FANS EXPECT FROM GOODLUCK IN 2027? The band has its sights set on international touring, new destinations, fresh music, and collaborations.
“ The big theme for us going into 2027 is expansion, but in a way that still feels really intentional.”
And with bigger plans already taking shape, she hints that there’ s plenty more to come.
