NPQG is a nonprofit whose main goal is to further the quilting skills and knowledge of its members. It accomplishes this through programming, local and national speakers, workshops, lectures and a sewing retreat. Members also participate in service projects including making quilts for foster children, Quilts of Valor, blankets for women’ s shelters and items for cancer patients.
The guild was founded in 1981 when women from a community college quilting class decided they wanted to continue to learn and grow as a group. Members are of all ages and levels of experience, and they welcome new members who want to enhance their quilting journey.

THREE ESTABLISHMENTS ADDED TO THE STRIP DISTRICT

CARNEGIE MUSEUMS LAUNCH $ 500 MILLION CAMPAIGN
Carnegie Museums has publicly launched its $ 500 million“ ALL TOGETHER” campaign to support its four institutions— the Carnegie Museum of Art, Carnegie Museum of Natural History, Kamin Science Center and The Andy Warhol Museum.
This campaign will fund new exhibits, educational programs and improved visitor experiences, while revitalizing facilities and expanding access to collections.
