The Rankin Christian Center is a non-profit, faith based
community social service agency, primarily focusing on
serving minority and underserved communities in the
Mon Valley of Allegheny County.
Our agency houses program services for at-risk
individuals from birth to seniors.

CHILDREN AND YOUTH PROGRAMS
After School Program – 3:00 to 6:00
Evening Youth of a Nation - 6:00 to 8:00
Summer Camp – June 15, 2020 to August 7, 2020 (9:00 to 4:00)
Summer Camp Registration Dates are April 6, 7 and 8 from 2:00 to 6:00

SENIORS ON THE MOVE – MONDAY – FRIDAY 9:00 TO 2:00
Bingo – 1st Friday of the month
Luncheon – 2nd Friday of the month (RSVP required) Cost $7.00
Computer Class - Tuesday 9:30 to 11:30 (signups required)
Walking Group – Wednesdays at 10:00
Line Dancing – Thursdays 9:00 to 11:00 – Cost $2.00 a session
FOOD PANTRY
Distributes food to local residents who are in need of food and
food products and have financial difficulties. (Proof of residence
and income required)
MON VALLEY SUPPORTS COORDINATION
Mon Valley has established itself as a leader among the Supports Coordination sector by
delivering services in a way that is uniquely people-driven, committed and progressive.
For children and adults who have been diagnosed with an intellectual disability and/or
Autism, our supports coordination is well-known and is well-respected program that
helps with locating, coordinating and monitoring services that improve the quality of
their lives
A. N. MINNEY SCHOLARSHIP AWARD
We are going on our 41st year of awarding Woodland Hills High School Seniors and
College Students monetary awards for college and trade schools. This year the A. N.
Minney Scholarship Award Ceremony will be on Thursday, June 11, 2020. Applications for the
A.N. Minney Scholarship Award are available at the Rankin Christian Center. All applications
are due back to the Center by May 15, 2020. For more information call 412.271.8313.

We offer assistance for residents facing issues regarding tenant/landlord disputes, utility
insurance, housing discrimination and eviction. We also provide resources and services
that are available to assist at risk residents living in public housing.
