The NPQG Quilt Show is a biennial
event and will be held April 24-26 at
the Ross Township Community Center.
This year’s theme is “Log Cabin Fever.”
More than 100 quilts will be displayed
and there will be a variety of vendors,
chances to win a dream basket and sewing
machines, and a quilt appraiser. Entry
submissions are open to the public for
this juried show.
Tickets to win the Log Cabin raffle
quilt are being sold by members and
available in area quilt shops. The guild
invites people to join in as a member or
visitor to enjoy the beautiful handmade

On Saturday, May 2, the Garden Club
of Monroeville will hold its spring plant
sale at Monroeville Community Park,
Pavilion 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The
sale will feature annuals, herbs, hanging
baskets, floral wreaths and decorative
pots. A repotting service will be available
for those who want their root-bound
houseplants transplanted into a larger pot.
The proceeds from the sale support
three local gardens maintained by the
PUPPY PLAY DATES AT
WALKERS PET HOTAIL

Time: 7 to 8 p.m.
Monthly Puppy Parties are back by
popular demand, under the revised format
of Puppy Play Dates! Focusing on group
play, by size of dog, the Puppy Play Dates
will be in Walkers’ All-Day-Play Center.
This playtime is for pets up to 2 years old.
All pets over 6 months must be spayed/
neutered in order to attend, and current with
Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccines
with negative fecal exam. Please arrive no
later than 7:10 p.m. so all pups can play as
long as possible.
Puppy Play Dates are planned for the third
Thursday of each month, from 7 to 8 p.m.,
excluding October and December. n
