Michael Glister
Named New Borough Manager
The Borough of Jefferson Hills is pleased to announce that Michael Glister has been appointed to the role of Borough Manager , effective October 2024 . Michael initially joined the Borough in 2018 as the in-house Borough Engineer , following more than three years representing the Borough as a Project Manager with Gateway Engineers . Most recently , he served as Acting Borough Manager for over a year , where his extensive knowledge of Borough operations and proven leadership demonstrated his suitability for the role .
Michael brings a wealth of experience in municipal government and excels at collaborating with Borough staff and community stakeholders , managing projects , and improving community services . His leadership style is marked by transparency and proactive communication , consistently ensuring that the community ’ s needs are met and exceeded . Borough Council is confident that Michael ' s vision and experience will drive positive change , and they look forward to seeing his contributions help shape the future of Jefferson Hills .
