Thomas Jefferson Jaguar Marching Band Hosts 21st Annual Fall Festival of Bands
On a perfect fall evening on October 5 , the Thomas Jefferson Jaguar Marching Band hosted the 21st annual Fall Festival of Bands . The festival featured performances by more than a dozen local and regional bands , including the TJ Marching Band and the University of Pittsburgh Band .
TJ Students Serve As Poll Workers for 2024 General Election
Twenty-four Thomas Jefferson High School students played a critical role in the democratic process as they served as poll workers at nine polling places across the area on Tuesday , November 5 . Seventeen students worked sevenhour shifts , with the remainder serving at the polling location for more than 14 hours . Thomas Jefferson High School educator Leah Freeman coordinated the efforts with Allegheny County .
