JHIS Golden ROARS is the Ticket
Jefferson Hills Intermediate School students gathered at a school-wide assembly for an exciting event ! Throughout the final weeks of school , students were able to earn Golden ROARS tickets . The tickets were pulled and several lucky students had the opportunity to spin the Wheel-of-Fun to throw a pie in the face of some JHIS teachers and even some fifth-grade students !
The Golden ROARS PBIS Assembly also included a big race with teachers and administrators who competed in a fun and wacky inflatable costume race ! Congratulations to the Zebra ( Matt Kline , fifth-grade teacher ) on out-dueling all the competitors to cross the finish line first !
We are very proud of all our students for regularly demonstrating our core values ( Respect , Ownership , Attitude , Responsibility , Safety ) and continuing to earn ROARS cards , which are part of our school-wide PBIS program .
