Through Dance, Food, and Community at TJ’ s Culture Fest
For four straight years, Thomas Jefferson High School students have worked to bring their community together at Culture Fest. This afternoon event held at the high school features student performances, cultural dishes, games, and art. This year’ s Culture Fest on Saturday, February 8 brought more than 200 people together to enjoy incredible student dances and delicious food.

School District and First Responders Collaborate at Annual Safety Meeting
School safety is a collaborative effort. That’ s why on February 12, the West Jefferson Hills School District hosted first responders and public officials from WJH communities and Allegheny County for an annual collaboration meeting. There was a delicious lunch prepared by the WJHSD Food Service staff followed by discussions and feedback, all centered on ensuring the continued safety and security of all WJH students, faculty, staff, and families. The district is incredibly grateful for the partnerships with first responders and local officials.
On Thursday, December 19, 59 Thomas Jefferson High School Students were inducted into the school’ s chapter of the National Honor Society. Since 1921, the National Honor Society has recognized students who embody the society’ s four pillars: scholarship, service, leadership, and character.
