After a successful cleanup last year we are again inviting all
Borough families, school, church and civic groups, to join us for
our Earth Day 2016 cleanup. After breakfast at the Municipal
Center, volunteers will receive gloves, vests, bags and final
instructions about their assignments. If you are able to give us
an hour or two on Saturday morning, April 23,
please join us. NOTE: All filled bags are to be left
at the exact spot where they are filled, so lifting is
unnecessary.
Special thanks to Michelle Dunn of KEEP PA
BEAUTIFUL for helping us to coordinate our Earth
Day cleanup and providing the supplies; Mayor Jan
Cmar for coordinating the breakfast; and Floreffe
fireman Austin Hatfield for
coordinating safety coverage
with our Volunteer Fire
Companies and EMS vehicles
and personnel.
