Pleasant Hills Middle School hosted Family Fun Night
on Friday, February 19. Our focus for the evening was
“Celebrating Who We Are”. The night gave us a chance to
celebrate the many nationalities and ethnicities of our
students and families. Thanks to the donations from students,
parents, staff, and community members, guests were able to
experience delicious food dishes from around the world. The
Family Fun Night serves as a fundraiser for student gradelevel trips to Niagara Falls. There were many things to do
and see for all ages. Each classroom donated items for a gift
basket raffle, and volunteers operated a variety of games to
raise money. The night ended with a special performance of
Stevie Wonders’ “Sir Duke” by the middle school teachers and
Dr. Panza. Thank you to everyone who contributed to make
the night a success. Special thanks to John Rambo, Metz Food
Service for their donations, Mr. David Conley for his
DJ services, the
Mike Medved Band,
and the PHMS PTO.
