Its mission is to provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need. It does this by giving them gifts of new, handmade blankets, quilts and afghans, lovingly created for Project Linus by volunteer“ blanketeers.” The blanketeers are part of the mission as well— seeking to provide a rewarding and fun service opportunity for interested individuals and groups in local communities, for the benefit of children.
