Mr Dorin estimates his designs have raised over $ 100,000 for leukaemia research at Jeans For Genes Day fund-raising auctions, and he has picked up two people ' s choice awards for his designs on the jeans of Ricky Ponting and motorcyclist Chris Vermeulen.
This year he will take on a pair of jeans donated by world champion swimmer Geoff Huegill, which Mr Dorin said are a " very trendy " brown pair of Neuw denim.
" The design is going to be about water," Mr Dorin revealed.
" I ' ve got ideas about medals, water characters, maybe him swimming around and getting chased by a few sharks."
The design and painting process usually takes about three weeks, with the finished creation to be auctioned off at the Jeans For Genes gala dinner in August.
Mr Dorin has drawn on the jeans of cultural legends and movie stars, but there is still one pair of jeans he says would like to check off his wishlist- those of Formula 1 star Michael Schumacher.
