Making Martin Luther King, Jr. Day A Day of Service for the Sixth Year in a Row
For most students, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is anticipated as a day off of school. Twenty of the South Fayette Middle and High School students saw this day as an opportunity to give back to the community. South Fayette continues to maintain a service partnership with the Hosanna House in Wilkinsburg on MLK Day, and this marks the sixth year that South Fayette has participated in this event. Students were involved in cleaning the recreational areas and stairwells of the Hosanna House as well as picking up trash in the local neighborhood.
Thank you to the following students for giving of their time on MLK Day of Service 2017: Adam Bihler, Adele Bihler, Ethan Bihler, Charlotte Bridges, Samantha Doleno, Emily Harasin, Kevin Kamyk, Carter Lininger, Haiden Litwinovich, Chelsea Mananguite, Ramana Manivannan, Alex Nanni, Izabella Nanni, Amanda Oliver, Ariana Quam, Anish Ramagiri, Anvitha Ramagiri, Zipporah Rose, Zach Sabo, and Pranav Sakthi.
