Dr. Bille P. Rondinelli
Superintendent of Schools
Additionally, please join the District in extending professional thanks to the South Fayette Township Public Works / Road Crew and Police Departments for their ongoing efforts to maintain the roads and to monitor traffic safety. Their support and collaboration remains vital to District operations.
We also want to thank the entire South Fayette Township Community for the support extended to our arts programs. On February 23-25, 2017, South Fayette Middle School Music Teacher, Jessica Horzempa, directed the talented South Fayette Middle School students as they performed an outstanding production of Beauty and the Beast, JR.
In preparation for this year’ s musical, Broadway actor Chuck Wagner facilitated a unique real-world student workshop experience on site. The 6’ 5” tall Wagner, who played the role of the Beast / Prince on Broadway’ s Beauty and the Beast, provided students with theatrical tips such as how to better move and react while performing onstage. It was heartwarming to see so many community members and“ Little Lions” in attendance. Several young attendees came in costume as the Beauty / Belle, to mirror our amazing grade 8 student vocalist, Audrey Logan, who performed as Belle.

Every lead character portrayed his or her role with style and pizazz, such as Joseph Henry as Gaston; Ryan Burnett as Beast / Prince; Griffin Hurt as Lumiere; Alex Miller as Cogsworth; Aleia Snider as Mrs. Potts; Brett Skerbetz as Chip; Rebecca Finnie as Babette; Maksim Shcherbatyuk as Monsieur D’ Arque; Megan Gauger as Madame de la Grade Bouche; Joshua James as Lefou; Bella Sharp as the Old Beggar Woman / Enchantress; and, Nathanial Souders as Maurice. Other roles significant to the musical included the: Narrators; Featured Dancers; Silly Girls; Servants; and Villagers. Additionally, the Running Crew, Technical Crew, and Set Design Team all contributed greatly to the show’ s success. outh Fayette
