OF THE 305 GRADUATES,
• 79 % are pursuing four-year college degrees.
South Fayette’ s 97th Commencement Ceremony was held on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, with 305 graduates making up the Class of 2025. Selected class speakers included Carly Garrubba, Ryan Baldigowski, and Raneem Shedeed, and Mr. Gary Smith was the Senior Tribute Faculty Speaker. Siya Joshi and Cierra Rexrode shared their collaborative Lion Hall art piece, and the Vocal Point Select Choir performed“ You’ ll Never Walk Alone” by Rodgers and Hammerstein.
Recognized for choosing to pursue a military career and / or ROTC program were Zachary Beattie, Toby Caylor, Rishi Janapareddy, Charles Kosko, and Connor Speer.
The top ten ranked seniors in the class included( in alphabetical order) Zeina Abdelsalam, Ryan Baldigowski, Andrew Carson, Pavithra Dantu, Rohith Galla, Sondos Khattab, Dhruv Kithany, Luke Miller, Caroline Praveen, and Srishti Swaminathan. In all, 208 of the 305 grads finished with honors or higher, with 19 % of the class graduating with honor, 16 % with high honor, and 32.5 % with highest honor.
Once all graduates had received their diplomas, Ryan Baldigowski and Amelya Pinami, presidents of the Senior Class Council and Student Government, respectively, led their class in the turning of tassels and tossing of caps.
