National TSA Competition
From June 28-July 2, 2019, sophomores Haley Allcorn and
Zoe Koutavas and senior Joshua Milteer attended with their
adviser, High School English teacher James Hausman, the 2019
Technology Student Association (TSA) National Conference
in National Harbor, Maryland, outside of Washington DC. The
students competed in Forensic Science, On Demand Video,
and Photographic Technology. For their creative efforts in On

Demand Video, the team earned a semifinalist spot finishing
in the top 12 of the nation! This is among the highest rankings
our school has earned at a national event, and we are excited
to compete for an even better place next year. South Fayette’s
TSA program continues to grow and offers students an amazing
variety of opportunities to pursue their interests.
