FROM THE OFFICE OF STATE REPRESENTATIVE LORI MIZGORSKI SENIORS FOR SAFE DRIVING ONE DAY REFRESHER COURSE Thursday, April 2, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM Shaler Township Municipal Building Training Room State Representative Lori Mizgorski will host this course for drivers 55 years or older. The fee is $16.00 payable to Seniors for Safe Driving. This course is for participants who have successfully completed the “first time” course. Refresher courses are required every three years after the “first time” course. Participants will receive a minimum 5% discount on their auto insurance. SPRING CLEANING COLLECTION, APRIL 20 – JUNE 15 Suggested items include laundry detergent, antibacterial wipes, all-purpose cleaner, toilet bowl cleaner, dish detergent, sponge packs and paper towels. All glass bottles, jars, and jugs will be taken. Caps, lids, and labels can be left on, but the containers must be empty. Window glass, drinking glasses, dishware, ceramics, mirrors, lightbulbs, and TVs will NOT be accepted. SHREDDING EVENT Saturday, May 16, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM Shaler North Hills Library Senator Lindsey Williams will be hosting this free event. Participants may bring up to two boxes of paper shredding per car.
