RADical Days September 28 through October 6 A reminder that many of your favorite places to visit will offer free admission or free programs during RADical Days. This year the celebration of our Regional Assets will be held from September 29 through October 6. Watch for announcements of all the fun activities. FUNDRAISERS 2017 Marks the Shaler North Hills Library 75th Anniversary! We broke ground on December 7, 1941. After discussion about the war effort and whether to continue as a library, leaders moved forward and officially opened the doors in September 1942. We will be celebrating with special events and fun activities throughout 2017! We are so thrilled to serve our community and look forward to many more years ahead! Bag Sale - Sunday, October 23 from 10:00 AM–4:30 PM (Library opens for general business at 1:00 PM) Stock up on great books, paperbacks, AV materials, games, puzzles and more for all ages, at bargain prices. Our Youth Advisory Board will sponsor its Bake Sale on Saturday. Look for the wallet-friendly Bag Sale on Sunday. Sponsored by the Friends of SNHL. All proceeds benefit SNHL. The library gratefully accepts donations any time which may be left in the donation bin in our lobby. Contact the library for many volunteering opportunities for individuals and groups during our fabulous Fall Book Sale Blowout. The Pittsburgh Foundation Day of Giving September 21 from 8AM to Midnight. The Foundation has re-scheduled the giving day due to technical glitches in May.
