We are so grateful to all who donated to Shaler North Hills Library and await the results of the prorated match provided by the Jack Buncher Foundation. Thank you to the Buncher Foundation, Allegheny County Library Association( ACLA), and Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh( CLP). Through your generous support, the amazing support of Shaler Township and a matching grant from the Keystone Grants for Public Libraries( Commonwealth of PA), we have been able to install a full-ADA restroom on the first floor and rehabilitate our second-floor restrooms! On to more facility projects!

Live at the Library: Act Out Theater Free Performances for the Whole Family— Tuesdays at 6:30 p. m. October 21: The Pumpkin Who Couldn’ t Smile and Miss Nelson is Missing; and November 18: The Wizard of Oz. Fun and laughter! Bring your family and friends and enjoy a night of live theater. No registration is needed.
National Drug Take Back Day and License Plate Replacement— Saturday, October 25 from 10:00 a. m. to 2:00 p. m. Shaler Township Police Department officers will be in the library’ s rear parking lot collecting expired and unused medications and vaping materials. Concerned that your license plate is illegible? Shaler Township Police can verify and assist you with the form to get a replacement from PennDOT.
