• Our 2026 PA 3-Digit Daily Number Lottery Calendars are on sale now. They make great Christmas / birthday gifts. Call our station at 412-822-7000 or stop by before training on Tuesdays or Thursdays when we have Bingo to get one before we sell out!
• We still have the cheapest entry fee locally to play our weekly Bingo held on Thursdays beginning at the new time of 7:00 PM( doors open at 6 PM). We play 14 Regular games with a payout of $ 100 each, 4 Special games with a payout of $ 200 each, a minimum $ 1,000 must-go Jackpot( up to $ 2,000 if won in 48 numbers, $ 1,800 in 49, $ 1,600 in 50, $ 1,400 in 51, $ 1,200 in 52, and $ 1,000 in 53 or more balls drawn), and our“ Progressive All-Nighter” game that will pay up to a maximum of $ 2,000( a consolation Bingo game of $ 100 is paid if we have no winners) that grows each week, included in your entry fees.
• It’ s never too late to send in a donation. No matter if it’ s big or small, it is appreciated.
• We are always looking for new members to join our team. You don’ t have to fight fires to belong! We have many classes of membership so one will surely fit into your schedule. We are a family here that loves giving back to our community and we think you will too!

Happy fall neighbors! Our volunteers have been very busy training and running emergency calls! We have also been out in the community at the schools, birthday party visits, homecoming, and more. We want to THANK YOU for your monetary donation! It’ s not too late to donate if you haven’ t! Your donation goes directly back to the community through the purchase of any needed protective equipment at Elfinwild.
2026 is right around the corner. Our banquet hall is available for your special event. We are booking weddings, bridal and baby showers, birthday parties, family reunions, and graduation parties for summer and next fall! Dates are filling up fast!
We received a request from the North Pole this week! Elfinwild members will be escorting Santa through our district in December! Please check our Facebook for timing and route information! As 2025 is coming to an end, we at Shaler Villa VFC would like to thank you for your ongoing support through the years. There is still time to send in your donation for 2025.
In 2026, we look forward to the delivery of our new Pierce 107’ Ascendant ladder truck. This will replace our 2005 American LaFrance ladder truck that has served the community over the last 20 years.

Sharps Hill would like to thank our members, the Township, and residents for their support over the last 95 years. We don’ t know what the future holds but can guarantee there will always be fire protection for the residents of our district. Like all of the other departments in Shaler, we welcome members who can volunteer their time to be part of the department. You can help in many ways as a social member even if you’ re not interested in the lengthy training to be an interior firefighter.
